CRISFIELD, Md.- Crisfield police are investigating a Sunday afternoon shooting that left a man hospitalized.
It happened at around 12:45 p.m. at the Somers Cove Apartments in the area of Cove Street and Charlotte Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim, a 26-year-old Crisfield man, who had sustained a gunshot wound.
The victim was subsequently transported to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury for treatment and is expected to survive.
The investigation is ongoing.
