Salisbury Couple Facing Charges After Police Find Large Amount of Illegal Drugs

SALISBURY, Md.- The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office arrested two people after a months-long drug investigation led to the discovery of heroin, cocaine and other illegal substances.

The Sheriff's Office said it had been investigating Travis Green, 38 of Salisbury, for allegedly selling cocaine over the last several months. Once deputies received the proper warrants, officers from several police departments searched two apartments connected to Green on December 15. 

Police said they found Green and his girlfriend, An’shanae Renise Peterson, 23 of Salisbury, asleep in one of the apartments, both of which are located on the 500 block of Emory Court.

According to the Sheriff's Office, police seized:

  • 87.88 grams of marijuana
  • 17.1 cocaine
  • 39.35 grams of crack cocaine
  • 33.2 grams of blue heroin (suspected Fentanyl blend)
  • 69.5 heroin
  • Total heroin – 102.7 grams
  • $1,099 in cash
  • 2 digital scales
  • Cocaine/heroin aluminum press
  • Loaded .38-caliber special revolver
  • Numerous rounds of ammunition
  •  Sandwich baggies
  • 2 cellphones 

Green and Peterson were both arrested and released to the Wicomico County Detention Center. They face several drug-related charges.

Salisbury Police and Maryland State Police assisted the Sheriff's Office.
