SALISBURY, Md.- Delmarva Power is warning customers of a potential scam involving threats to shut off services.
The company reported on its Twitter account Friday that it's seen an uptick in these calls to customers.
The scammer will use Caller ID to replicate the company's phone number.
The scammer then threatens to shut the customer's service off if a payment isn't made.
Delmarva Power warns, if you suspect a scam, not to give out personal information and to call Delmarva Power immediately to report it.
