Seaford House Fire

SEAFORD, DE - The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating a residential fire that significantly damaged a Seaford home Monday.

According to the Office of the Fire Marshal, the fire was first reported after 1 p.m. on November 27th. The Seaford Volunteer Fire Department and Sussex County first responders arrived to find heavy smoke and fire emerging from the home. Multiple other fire companies also responded o the scene.

The Fire Marshal says the cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation. No one was home at the time, according to the Fire Marshal, and there were no reported injuries. Damage to the home is estimated at $300,000.
