HEBRON, Md.- US Route 50 at White Lowe Road near Hebron was shut down for several hours Friday after a snow pole struck a utility pole and knocked both it and wires down across the roadway.
Detours were set up while crews worked to clear the road. Police said that portion of Route 50 was expected to be reopened by noon.
There were no reported injuries.
