Traffic Alert in Delaware

Kent County, Del. - The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced the upcoming closure of Lynnbury Woods Road between Messina Hill Road and Moorton Road.

The closure begins on Monday, August 4th, and will last until Thursday, September 4th, weather permitting. This closure is for roadway reconstruction.

Detour:
  • Motorists traveling east on Lynnbury Woods Road should use Moorton Road, turn left onto E. Main Street, then left onto N. US 13, and finally left onto Messina Hill Road.
  • Motorists traveling west on Lynnbury Woods Road should use Messina Hill Road, turn right onto S. US 13, then right onto W. Main Street, and finally right onto Moorton Road.
