Emanuel Carlo Lucas Giovinco Seaford Boat Theft

SEAFORD, DE - The Delaware State Police have arrested two men from Pennsylvania accused of stealing a boat from a Seaford home Tuesday.

Police say they responded to a home on Walker Road on November 28th just before 8 a.m. on reports of a stolen boat and trailer. There, the 59-year-old victim told police his Sunbird boat had been taken overnight. Police were then reportedly notified the stolen boat and trailer had been seen at the Hampton Inn on Sussex Highway in Seaford. Troopers arrived at the hotel to find the allegedly stolen boat in the parking lot.

Further investigation identified Emanuel Carlo, 21, of Slatington, Pennsylvania, and Lucas Giovinco, 27, of Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, as the suspects in the theft. Police say neither of the two were at the Hampton Inn when the stolen boat and trailer were recovered, however.

Carlo and Giovinco were later arrested after a traffic stop in Bridgeville. Both were charged with the following:

-Theft of a Motor Vehicle (Felony)

-Conspiracy Second Degree (Felony)

-Theft Under $1500

-Criminal Trespass Third Degree

The two were arraigned and released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
