Areas of locally dense fog have developed across the Maryland and
northern Virginia Eastern Shore this morning. Visibilities will
generally be reduced to one half to one mile, but will locally be
reduced to a quarter mile or less. The fog should lift by 10 AM.

* WHAT...South winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt expected.

* WHERE...Chesapeake Bay from Pooles Island MD to Smith Point
VA, Chester River to Queenstown MD, Eastern Bay, Choptank
River to Cambridge MD and the Little Choptank River, and
Tangier Sound and the inland waters surrounding Bloodsworth
Island.

* WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 11 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
