PRINCESS ANNE, MD - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore says they apprehended a male student who made violent threats online on Friday night.
According to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, at around 9:45pm on Friday night, the UMES Department of Public Safety and the Maryland State Police "apprehended a male student who made violent threats online."
UMES says the student was apprehended outside one of the residence halls on campus. They also took four other male students who were with him into custody.
The university has resumed normal campus operations.
