Sam joined the WBOC team in January 2024 as a News Producer. She graduated from the University of Delaware in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communication. Before working at WBOC, Sam worked for Hens All-Access in the University of Delaware’s Athletics Department. She also interned for the Delmarva Sports Network in 2022.
MILTON, DE - The Delaware Department of Transportation announced an upcoming lane closure in Sussex County.
DelDOT announced that there will be lane closures at SR 1 and SR 16 in Milton for bridge inspections. The closures are scheduled to be on April 8th.
Those traveling on SR 1 and SR 16 can expect closures to occur from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
State transportation officials are reminding motorists to slow down in work zones and to expect minor delays in and around the area.
