MILLSBORO, DE - The Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash in Millsboro yesterday that took the life of a 20-year-old man from Lewes.

According to State Police, at about 4 p.m. on January 2nd, a Cadillac was driving east on John J WIlliams Highway (Rt. 24) at the same time a GMC was traveling west. A third car, a Dodge, was behind the GMC. Police say the Cadillac crossed over the center line of the road for unknown reasons and sideswiped the GMC before colliding head-on with the Dodge.

The driver of the Cadillac, a 20-year-old man, was taken to a nearby hospital where he died. On Thursday, police identified the man as Willi Aguilar-Garcia, of Lewes.

The driver of both the GMC and the Dodge, a 28-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, both from Millsboro, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

John J Williams Highway between William Street Road and Maryland Camp Road was closed for about 2.5 hours while authorities investigated and cleared the scene.

Delaware State Police continue to investigate, and ask any witnesses to contact them at 302-703-3267.
