Crews Working on Water Main Break in Salisbury

DOVER, DE.- Some neighbors in Dover experienced a sewer force main break near Carroll’s Plaza Wednesday morning.

Kent County officials say the Department of Natural Resources was notified. They say water flows were diverted to minimize the overflow.

Officials say repairs were completed around 3 a.m. on Thursday. An investigation into the cause of the break is now underway as well as clean-up and sampling downstream waterways to measure bacteria levels.
