Services took place today for Carter Figgs, the Delmar High School junior who tragically passed away in a crash last Saturday. The services were held at the auditorium in Delmar High School. It was a day of mourning for the Delmar community as they said their final goodbyes to the teen. Hundreds, including, family, friends, and community members attended to remember the young footballer.
Delmar School District will host the service for one of it's students who died over the weekend, Carter Figgs. Superintendent Dr. Andrew O'Neal says the school was a fitting location to mourn this loss in the community.
The Salisbury Police Department has released further details on the Saturday morning crash that claimed the life of a 16-year-old Delmar High School football player and left another teen in critical condition.
