The National Weather Service has placed Ocean City under a winter storm watch. A winter storm is expected to impact the area beginning the afternoon of Saturday, January 31 through the morning of Sunday, February 1.

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Days after the winter storm moved through the Mid-Shore, bitter cold temperatures are still preventing snow and ice from melting in Cambridge, leaving sidewalks, parking lots, and entryways covered and creating ongoing challenges for neighbors and businesses.

An icy deep freeze gripped the Delmarva Peninsula on Monday, leaving towns coated in slick conditions as residents worked to thaw out.
