State and local leaders joined the Downtown Dover Partnership on Tuesday for the groundbreaking of the Mobility Center, marking the first of several ongoing revitalization efforts aimed at transforming the capital city by 2030.
Some big changes and updates were recently announced to two of downtown Dover's largest revitalization projects — the planned Mobility Center on Bradford Street and the mixed-use development at 120 South Governors Avenue.
A recent recommendation from the Historic District Commission has brought Dover’s downtown revitalization one step closer to reality. In December, the commission recommended approval of the design for a new mobility center, a key project in the city's transformation efforts.
