ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Maryland lawmakers have passed a $70 billion budget that addresses the state’s $1.5 billion deficit, but some Eastern Shore legislators warn the plan does little to address long-term financial challenges.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Maryland Governor Wes Moore delivered his fourth State of the State Address on Tuesday, drawing a sharp contrast between his administration’s agenda and what he called a “damaging federal direction” out of Washington. 

MARYLAND. -- Local lawmakers have voiced their interest in urging Governor Wes Moore to suspend the gas tax increase. The automatic increase to 47 cents a gallon would go into effect on July 1st.
