Snow is falling across Delmarva early Sunday morning as a major winter storm moves in. While the first wave is bringing accumulating snow, WBOC Chief Meteorologist Mike Lichniak says the bigger concern will develop later today as sleet and freezing rain take over in parts of the region.

While the snow portion of Monday's winter storm is over, the bitter cold has settled in over many towns across Delmarva. Some neighbors WBOC spoke with in Laurel Tuesday were working to return to their typical, daily routines. 

While many chose to stay inside during Monday's wintry weather, others were braving the cold, either by choice or out of necessity.
