The U.S. Coast Guard said Sunday afternoon it had suspended its search for a missing boater in the Chesapeake Bay.

A container ship the length of more than three football fields has finally been pried from the muddy bottom of the Chesapeake Bay more than a month after it ran aground.

Crews will try to refloat a container ship that has been stranded in the Chesapeake Bay for more than two weeks, the U.S. Coast Guard said Monday.
