Waking up to another weak boundary passing across Delmarva with a wind shift for today out of the west and northwest that will pull in a little more comfortable air. With a mix of sun and clouds will have our temperatures climbing up into the 70s and 80s again this afternoon as the upper-level low completely breaks down and passes over the top of the area. The wind starts to veer more off the Atlantic as we head into Thursday. Thursday will have temperatures in the 70s and 80s again and will bring another cold front with the chance of a few late afternoon and evening showers and storms on a very warm day.

The front slows down and stalls over the top of the area into Thursday night and keeps us gray with on and off rain for much of the day on Friday. Some of this rain could be moderate to heavy at times and we could even see a few thunderstorms develop once again within the bands of rain. Here is the good news: things will improve much faster with this system as the atmosphere will be moving a bit better. We should start to dry things out Friday evening and Friday night leads to a quiet start to our Saturday morning.

The weekend forecast looks amazing for the mom’s at the moment with sunshine both on Saturday and Sunday with comfortable temperatures in the 60s and 70s on Saturday and 70s on Sunday. Another chance of rain looks to enter the forecast for Tuesday / Wednesday timeframe next week with another area of low pressure forming and hanging out over the top of the region.
