Some lingering rain showers will be possible as we get things started this morning with the front lagging behind to our west. The front should clear us by later this morning and the wind will start to pick up throughout the day. Temperatures will still reach the 60s in the afternoon hours with a mix of sun and clouds and the wind that will be gusting at times between 30-35+ mph. The wind stays up into tonight and Wednesday as much colder air rushes onto Delmarva with highs on Wednesday in the 50s.

Thursday will be a more comfortable day as the wind settles down Wednesday night with temperatures in the 50s and 60s for highs with lots of sunshine as the ridge of high pressure parks itself over the area. The highs will start to slide off the coast Thursday night allowing the wind to turn more out of the south and west and bringing in warmer temperatures heading toward the weekend.

We continue to warm things up heading into Easter with temperatures to near 70 on Friday and near 80 degrees for some of us on Saturday. A backdoor cold front will clear the area Saturday night and shift the wind out of the north and northeast for Sunday and bring in some cooler weather, especially at our beach towns with temperatures in the 50s for early morning sunrise services. We climb back up into the 70s for highs Sunday and the more comfortable temperatures will linger into next week.
