Another warm start this morning with temperatures in the 60s as you step out the door as the wind has not kicked in yet from the northeast that we expect to see pick up throughout the day today. This will limit temperatures in the 60s for highs at our beach towns this afternoon. Inland will see temperatures in the 60s and 70s…70s especially on the Mid-shore as you are farther away from the ocean and won’t have as much effect of that cooler air off the Atlantic. With a clear sky and a calming wind…temperatures overnight will fall into the 40s and hold in the 50s at the beach with the wind still coming in off the Atlantic.

A ridge of high pressure will slowly work its way in to take control of the forecast over the next few days. The slow progression of the low will keep things quiet weather wise with temperatures a little above average for this time of year with highs in the 70s. Some even warmer weather arrives by the time we get to Friday and Saturday with highs reaching into the 80s ahead of another cold front with a chance of some scattered showers and storms for Saturday afternoon and evening.

We cool things off for Sunday and Monday with temperatures more seasonable in the 60s and low 70s for highs. The high slides off the coast by Tuesday with highs soaring into the 70s and 80s by the middle of next week with a chance of a few showers / storms by Wednesday.
