***Freeze Warning Tuesday Night into Wednesday Morning***

In the wake of the storm system that brought welcome rain to Delmarva Monday, high pressure is building in from the west, making for a windy Tuesday.

As the high pressure centers itself over the Mid-Atlantic, winds will calm down Tuesday evening, which when coupled with clear skies means good radiational cooling conditions, and temperatures that will fall below freezing in many locations. If you have begun your spring flowers and veggies, be sure they are protected or brought inside tonight.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and quite chilly for this time of year, with temperatures only in the low to mid 50s.

Temperatures moderate back to more seasonable levels by Thursday afternoon, with increasing clouds ahead of our next weather-maker, which will be another round of welcome rainfall on Friday, with some showers possibly lingering into Saturday morning.

The rest of the coming weekend will be mostly sunny and seasonably cool, with afternoon highs in the low 60s.

In the long range, temperatures are expected to average above normal, and precipitation near normal for April 15 - April 21.
