We will see a bit of cloud cover for the next few days across Delmarva as an upper-level low will sit and spin off to our north and continue to push cooler air out of Canada. We will keep a few extra clouds around in the forecast for today, especially in the afternoon and evening as we will slowly warm up the temperatures with time into the 70s. A low passing by to our south will keep those clouds around tonight into early on Thursday before things become mostly sunny by the afternoon. A weak ridge of high pressure settles into the area and ends the workweek with more sunshine on Friday with temperatures in the low to mid 70s.
Things will start to turn gray overnight Friday night heading into Saturday. A storm system will form to our west and roll across Delmarva on Saturday with a chance for rain being placed into the cards. Depending on where a new low re-develops along the front, we could see some rain showers lingering into the start of our Sunday before we start to dry things out heading into Monday.
Cooler air comes into the cards heading into early next week with highs back into the 60s for highs. This cooler air will be coming around another upper level low to our northwest and will keep an unsettled weather pattern to start the work week next week with a chance of a few showers possible on Tuesday. High pressure arrives for late week with temperatures in the 60s and low 70s by Friday. Indications are we will have to deal with another rain chance heading into next week…and the pattern continues. :/
