Cool Things to Do: Valentine's Edition

DOVER, Del.- Starting this weekend, a Sussex County animal shelter will help house more than 100 pets displaced by the Texas freeze.

Two emergency rescue flights will arrive Sunday with pets from three Fort Worth, Texas shelters struggling with consecutive days without power, limited access to water and dangerously low temps for animals.

The dogs and cats will be housed at the animal rescue center in Georgetown and across the Brandy Valley SPCA's Delaware campuses in Georgetown, Dover and New Castle.

The pets will begin going up for adoption Tuesday.
