OCEAN CITY, Md.- The Coast Guard on Friday morning rescued seven people after the 35-foot boat they were on caught fire nearly 14 miles off the coast of Ocean City.
Coast Guard Station - Ocean City said a good Samaritan responded to the crew's distress call and rescued one of the crew members who was spotted in the water.
When Coast Guard members arrived on the scene, they found the boat fully involved in flames. All seven people were saved and safely returned to Ocean City with no reported injuries.
