MARION STATION, Md. – A lifetime resident of Marion Station and chief of the Accohannock Indian Tribe in Somerset County has passed away.
Rudy Hall, 85, died Tuesday morning, according to his granddaughter. She said his wife Mary, of 52 years, was by his side as he went peacefully.
Hall was born Feb. 15, 1930. He was in the National Guard, owned Rudy Hall & Sons, which is an excavation work contractor, and spent a lot of time traveling to pow wows.
He is survived by his five children, grandchildren, and his wife Mary.
