Ocean City police are conducting a death investigation after a body was found Monday morning in the area of 2nd Street and the beach.At around 6:30 a.m., citizens reported seeing the body to city employees, at which time they alerted Ocean City dispatchers.The 2nd Street area of the beach has been shut off to the public for the rest of the day.The investigation is ongoing and more details will be forthcoming.
