MILFORD, Del.- Delaware State Police are investigating a crash involving a chicken truck Tuesday in Milford.
Police said 43-year-old Donald Jones, of Dover, was driving a tractor trailer when he crossed over Coastal Highway near Bakersfield Road. A GMC Terrain struck the front bumper of the chicken truck while traveling northbound on the highway.
43-year-old Stephanie Marvel was the driver of the Terrain, according to DSP. The car traveled a short distance before stopping.
Police said both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Jones was cited for Failure to Yield at the Right of Way.
Marvel was taken to Beebe Memorial Hospital for her non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
DSP is continuing to investigate this crash in Milford.
