NEWARK, Del. - Delmarva Power said it has provided an improved billing transparency allowing customers to view more detailed delivery charges.
As of July 1, customers can now view more detailed delivery charges regarding programs required by the state of Delaware.
Delmarva Power said the new billing transparency is a result of the utility collaborating with state legislators, the Delaware Public Service Commission and the Delaware Public Advocate to enhance customer service and broaden customer awareness of residential and commercial billing.
Customers will now be able to see the breakdown of required charges for the Low Income Charge, Green Energy Fund and Renewable Compliance Charges. The line items listed are not new charges, but it is new that customers will be able to see the breakdown.
Both My Account and paper bill customers can view the new billing format.
