Dollar General Robbed in Laurel

LAUREL, Del.- Laurel police are looking for a suspect who held up the Dollar General store on Sussex Highway. 

Police said that at around 9:45 p.m. Thursday, a man wearing a disguise walked into the store with a handgun and demanded cash and cigarettes. Police said the employees complied with the suspect's orders. The suspect then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and property.

A check of the area was conducted by the Laurel Police Department, Delaware State Police and the Wicomico County, Md. K9 unit, but all met with negative results

According to investigators, the suspect was described as white, wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, dark jeans and dark sneakers. 

The same store was robbed on Nov. 22 by what appears to be the same suspect, police said.
