DOVER, Del. (AP) - Two former workers at the state-run Delaware Psychiatric Center have been sentenced to probation after entering pleas to criminal charges.
Authorities say 44-year-old Daniella Seneus, a nursing assistant, was sentenced last week after pleading guilty to forgery and falsifying business records.
Seneus and two former co-workers were indicted last year on several charges, including crime against a vulnerable adult, a felony. Prosecutors said the three did not check on a 38-year-old male patient as required in December 2016, but signed logs indicating they had done so. The man died.
Another former DPC worker, 50-year-old John Fraim, also was sentenced to probation last week.
Fraim, who worked as a security guard, pleaded no contest to patient abuse for having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a DPC patient last summer.
