DOVER, Del. --- Delaware hunters hoping to get an extra day of the week to hunt deer are getting some good news.
The state House on Thursday approved legislation that allows deer to be hunted on Sundays during the state's designated seasons for the animal.
Delaware currently allows deer to be hunted on a handful of Sundays each year. The bill allows for the harvesting of deer on Sundays through the state’s deer depredation programs.
The legislation already passed in the Senate and now heads to Gov. John Carney's desk for his signature.
