ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - A former martial arts instructor has been sentenced to 10 days in jail for having sex with a 14-year-old girl he met during classes.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jason Webb, who pleaded guilty to a third-degree sex offense, was also ordered to register as a sex offender at sentencing Wednesday in Anne Arundel Circuit Court.
Webb was an instructor at East Coast Martial Arts in Edgewater when, prosecutors say, he had sexual encounters with the girl in July 2013.
Webb apologized in court for his actions, saying he made an irresponsible decision.
