MILLSBORO, Del. -- The Delaware State Police say the Sussex County Drug Unit has made an arrest after a four-week long investigation in Millsboro.
Police say on August 26, the Sussex County Drug Unit with the assistance of the Governor's Task Force and Millsboro Police fulfilled a search warrant at a residence located at the unit block of Houston Circle in Millsboro. During the time of their arrival, police say Roderick Brown, 44, was located and taken into custody outside of the residence. After a search of the residence, police reported the seizure of 48.28 grams of powder cocaine, 12.89 grams of crack cocaine, .46 grams of heroin, 18.73 grams of marijuana, and over $5,000 in suspected drug sale revenue. The search also led detectives to a second address in the unit block of El Coleman Drive in Millsboro, where two handguns were seized.
DSPD also reported that detectives learned that Brown had other bank accounts and assets from drug dealing; detectives seized an additional amount of over $109,000 in suspected drug sale proceeds.
Brown was transported to Troop 4, where police say he was charged with possession of cocaine in a Tier 5 quantity, possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver and possession with the intent to deliver heroin, among other charges. He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institute on $172,000 bond.
