Motorcyclist Killed After Being Hit By Car Near Dagsboro

EASTON, Md. - A Talbot County man is in the hospital after police say he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle.

According to Easton police, 34-year-old Adam Dewitt of McDaniel, Md., was headed eastbound on Marlboro Avenue in Easton on a motorcycle on Tuesday when the accident occurred. Police say 20-year-old Hunter Nordberg of Easton was driving in a car westbound on Marlboro Avenue when he attempted to make a left turn into the Ledo's parking lot and pulled into the motorcycle's path.

Police say the two vehicles collided, throwing Dewitt from his motorcycle. He was flown to University of Maryland Shock Trauma to be treated for unspecified injuries. According to police, Nordberg was not injured.
