BALTIMORE (AP)- Police say a Maryland woman strangled her 5-month-old son before jumping to her own death from the roof of a Baltimore parking garage.
Baltimore police said Wednesday that the medical examiner has ruled the death of 5-month-old Sina Masoodi last month a homicide by asphyxiation. Police say they've closed the case because Sahar Pourrajabi of Cockeysville, the baby's mother and the suspect in the case, is dead.
On June 23, officers were called to a downtown parking garage about two blocks from the city's popular Inner Harbor for a report of a woman jumping. They found Pourrajabi dead. A short time later, they found the infant dead inside a parked car.
