PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Fire officials and police are investigating a small fire they say was set intentionally in a Rite Aid Pharmacy Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Office of the State Fire Marshal, an employee discovered the fire in an aisle of the 12154 Brittingham Lane location around 3:15 p.m.
Fire officials say a group of young males was seen in the area prior to the fire. The Princess Anne Police Department is assisting the state fire marshal in its investigation of what they are calling an attempted arson.
The fire caused five dollars worth of damage, according to officials.
