KENT/DORCHESTER COUNTY-
Don't be surprised if you hear jingle bells coming from your radio. Radio stations across Delmarva are beginning they holiday playlists.

The Duck
107.1 The Duck is getting an early start. They start airing Christmas music this Saturday.
"We are tearing the wrapping off the Christmas music box. We're going to plug it into the transmitter and just let it go! Spread that Christmas music all over Delmarva," says Christmas variety elf, Shane Walker.
"We mean Frank Sinatra all the way up to Pentatonix and Mariah Carey," said Joe Edwards the stations Radio Operations Manager.

The Bridge
The Bridge in Milford is starting their Christmas music a little later. You won't hear holiday tunes from them until after Thanksgiving.
"That is the launch, kind of, for Christmas shopping, and people start thinking about Christmas cards and baking for holiday parties and things like that," said morning show co-host Denise Harper.
But playing Christmas music doesn't change much for the Christmas radio station.
"Our music already is about hope, celebration, and encouragement. So it kind of really goes hand in hand with our regular format," said Harper.
Don't forget that you can call both stations and request your favorite holiday tune!
