SALISBURY, Md.- A Salisbury man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty to raping a child.
The Wicomico County State's Attorney's Office on Monday said 19-year-old Kevin Orlando Johnson Jr. was also sentenced to three additional years behind bars for violating probation he was on when the rape happened in July 2018. Upon release, Johnson will be on supervised probation for five years. He will also be supervised and registered as a Tier III sexual offender for life.
In April, Johnson pleaded guilty to second-degree rape and third-degree sex offense for engaging in non-consensual intercourse and oral sex with a child under the age of 14 in Billy Gene Jackson Park in Salisbury.
