BLADES, Del.- Delaware State Police have arrested a 15-year-old Georgetown boy in connection with a stabbing that happened at a gas station in Blades on Saturday afternoon.
Police say the boy, Lukas Morrison of Georgetown, was arrested at his home without incident.
Troopers said that at around 5 p.m. Saturday at the BP gas station, located at 50 Market St. in Blades, Morrison was confronted by a group of three men who accused him of owing them money. The altercation escalated and turned into a fight. Police said Morrison pulled out a knife and stabbed one of the men, an 18-year-old, in his lower body.
The two fighting then separated and fled the scene, according to police. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he was treated for a puncture wound and later released.
Morrison was taken into custody and charged with second-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony. He was later released to a guardian and is pending a future court appearance.
