SALISBURY, Md--The end of the road is here for Toys "R" Us as they close their doors for good Friday. The stores closure comes after the company filed for bankruptcy in September.

Workers spent the sunny day putting up signs, informing customers, the iconic store is closed for good.

Mom Brenda Boda is sad the store closed.

"I can't believe, it was my favorite store, I have been shopping here for all my life," says Boda.

Real estate agents say the closing of Toys "R" Us will also leave a huge chunk of empty space on the market. Real estate agents also say, finding a new tenant for the Salisbury location could be difficult.

"The challenge is going to be the location of the Salisbury shop, it does not offer highway exposure," says Wesley Cox of SVN Miller Commercial Real Estate.

Cox says Toys "R" Us owns the Salisbury location and they have not yet released a date as to when that location will go up for sale.
