Jimmy has been in radio and TV since 1979. He helped put a well-known country radio station on the air in 1993, hence his nom de plume, Jimmy Hoppa.
He is currently a certified lay minister with the Church of God and a chaplain at TidalHealth Nanticoke, Sussex County Emergency Services and the Laurel Fire Department, as well as co-anchor of WBOC News This Morning and co-host of DelmarvaLife.
He was in radio for 27 years before moving to WBOC in 2004. He's been married since 1990 to Carol, who says she almost has him broken in.
