SHOOTING INVESTIGATION GRAPHIC

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - The Cambridge Police Department is investigating a shooting on Tuesday that left a 19-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. 

According to police, officers received a ShotSpotter alert indicating multiple rounds of gunfire on Skinners Court on Aug. 18 just before 1:15 p.m. 

As they were responding to the scene, police say they saw a car speeding from the area towards a local hospital. Several officers followed the car to the hospital where they learned a 19-year-old man inside was suffering from gunshot wounds to the neck, torso, and arm.

Cambridge Police say the victim was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma. The investigation into the shooting is currently developing and active, according to police, and anyone with information is asked to call 410-228-3333.
