DOVER, DE - The Delaware State Police are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred on Saturday at a smoke shop in Kent County.
On Saturday, April 12th, just after 2:00pm, troopers from the Delaware State Police responded to Smoke Beast, located at 220 Gateway South Boulevard, for the report of a attempted robbery.
DSP say a male suspect had entered the store earlier in the day before returning and pointing a handgun at an employee while demanding merchandise. The employee did not comply with the suspect, and the suspect fled from the location without taking any items.
State police say the suspect was a male, wearing a mask and gloves. He fled on foot in the northern direction.
