BERLIN, MD - The Town of Berlin and Berlin Main Street announced the recipients of the 2025 Berlin Façade Grant Program. The grant award comes from the $50,000 the town received from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development.
The Berlin Façade Grant provides matching grant funds for commercial property and business owners to improve the exteriors of their buildings. The Town of Berlin says the program "is part of the town’s ongoing effort to revitalize Main Street and support local businesses, preserving the character of the town."
The 2025 grant participants were The Atlantic Hotel, Bay Four LLC, Roadie Joe's Berlin, Decatur Investments, Salon 16, Cafe Berlin, and The Ghost Museum.
Berlin's Mayor Zack Tyndall says the façade grant program helps drive investments into Berlin's Downtown area. Tyndall says "The improvements made by our business community not only enhance the beauty of our town but also reflect the pride our business owners take in making Berlin a great place to live, work, and visit. We are grateful to the team at DHCD for supporting this important program and to this year’s recipients for investing in Berlin’s future."
