Jana Ruark joined WBOC as a News Producer in July 2021, shortly after graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Media Communication and a minor in Journalism. She produces our entirely local 6 p.m. newscast and has won three first-place awards from the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association since joining Delmarva's News Leader.

SNOW HILL, Md.- Many gathered Saturday in Snow Hill for the 23rd “Blessing of the Combines.”
The event which celebrates agriculture and honors farm families, got underway at 10 a.m. and wrapped up at 3 p.m.
This year’s event featured Congressman Andy Harris and Maryland’s Secretary of Agriculture as a speaker and keynote speaker, respectively.
There was plenty to do from pony rides and a parade to a car show and a new corn maze.
