Baywater Animal Rescue

CAMBRIDGE, MD - Baywater Animal Rescue in Cambridge has announced its recognition from a national animal rescue nonprofit for their near 100% save rate in 2022.

Baywater Animal Rescue says it achieved a save rate of 98.3% last year and has received the No-Kill Status Award from the Best Friends Animal Society, a national nonprofit that advocates for no-kill shelters. Baywater says the award underscores their efforts to provide safety to animals in need across Dorchester and surrounding counties.

“The organization’s commitment to nurturing, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for animals has resulted in a remarkable live release rate of 98.3%, where no adoptable animal is euthanized due to lack of space or resources,” the Animal Rescue said in a press release.
