OCEAN VIEW, Del.- A Dagsboro teen was arrested Wednesday morning following an argument in an Ocean View home.

Delaware State Police say there was an alleged argument between 19-year-old Timothy Lawrence and an 18-year-old teen at a home in the 31000 block of Hope Street around 5 a.m.

During the argument the victim told Lawrence to leave the home, DSP says. Investigators say he reportedly took a knife out from his pocket and waved it in the victim’s face. When Lawrence was leaving, officers say he stabbed the wall.

No injuries were reported.

Troopers later took Lawrence into custody without incident. He was taken to the Dagsboro Police Department, where he was charged with:

  • Aggravated Menacing (Felony)
  • Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)

Lawrence was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to the Sussex Correction Institution on a $7,000 secured bond.
