Executive Producer
Jana Ruark joined WBOC as a News Producer in July 2021 and became Executive Producer in 2025. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Media Communication and a minor in Journalism. She has produced our entirely local 6 p.m. newscast and has won several first-place awards from the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association.
DELAWARE- Delaware’s governor is expected to sign several pieces of gun legislation tomorrow.
Democratic Governor John Carney plans to sign House Bill 201 and House Bill 202. The bills limit the possession of firearms in places like polling areas and schools.
State Senate President Pro Tem Dave Sokola, Sen. Sarah McBride, Rep. Pete Schwartzkopf, Rep. Cyndie Romer, and other advocates plan to be at the Delaware Public Archives in Dover at around 10 a.m. for the signing.
