WICOMICO CO., MD - The Maryland Department of Transportation has announced a paving project on US 13 Business in the Salisbury and Fruitland areas set to commence next week. 

According to the Department, resurfacing will occur between Main Street and US 13/US 50 Bypass and US 13 Business north from Fruitland’s Main Street to Salisbury’s Dogwood Drive. The project is expected to begin on Monday, October 2nd, and last through the month, weather permitting. 

The Department says work will be conducted from 8a.m. to 4 p.m. during the week, with expected single lane closures.

Drivers can expect arrow boards, cones, and flaggers to assist them in navigating the work zone according to the Department of Transportation, as well as major traffic impacts and delays.
